Hi. I'm Stephanie--would you like a business card--wait I don't have any--um, I'm Stephanie. Stephanie, who? I'm Stephanie, the artist. I am fixated on making this series of white paintings of people. People in active gestures. I have so far completed four. Two of them are in my gallery, one is called 'Wind,' and the other is 'Whisper.' They are the very white paintings that are made with gesso and modeling paste. Not exactly your most complicated materials, but they look pretty spectacular--at least, I'm proud of them. This entry is not about the completed women, it's about the men. There are two other white paintings, currently untitled because they aren't complete. One is of a man walking a dog. It looks a little more flat than the others, but it's pretty much complete.
